Manerix is a drug known to inhibit the action of a chemical substance known as monoamine oxidase in the nervous system. Manerix belongs to the class of drugs known as monoamine oxidase inhibitors and is used to alleviate certain types of mental depression.

Manerix Indications
Manerix is primarily used to relieve particular types of mental depression. Manerix may also be used for purposes such as those not indicated here in this guide.

Manerix Warnings
Manerix may not be well-suited if you have the following conditions:
Liver disease
Hypertension
Manerix is not advisable if you have had a previous allergic reaction or to any of its components or any other substances like foods, preservatives, or dyes. Manerix is also not advisable if you have had any previous allergic reactions to other monoamine oxidase inhibitors or to moclobemide.
It is not known if Manerix can cause any defects or harm to an unborn infant. However, do not take Manerix without your doctor€™s permission when you are pregnant.
It is not known whether Manerix passes into breast milk and to a nursing infant. Do not take Manerix if you are nursing a child without your doctor€™s consent.
The adverse effects of Manerix are more pronounced in patients with advanced age, especially those with ages 60 and above. You may need lower doses of Manerix if you belong to the mentioned age group.

Manerix Intake Guidelines
Manerix should be taken exactly as directed by your doctor or as indicated by the instructions accompanying the package. If there are matters that you do not understand refer to your pharmacist, nurse or physician and ask him or her to explain those matters to you.

Manerix Dosage
Dosage of Manerix should be obtained from your doctor. Dosage may vary from person to person with regards to a variety of factors such as age, severity of condition and others. Do not take in more or less of Manerix so as not to alter its effects and to prevent overdose.

Manerix Overdose
Symptoms of overdose of Manerix include the following:
Agitation
Confusion
Convulsions or seizures
Decreased reflexes
Extreme drowsiness
High blood pressure
Loss of memory
Nausea
Slurred speech
Vomiting
If you experience any of these symptoms, you may be experiencing overdose. Seek immediate medical attention or call poison control. Inform your doctor afterwards.

Manerix Missed Dose
Doses of Manerix should not be missed. If a dose is missed, however, take it as soon as remembered. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and take the subsequent doses according to schedule. Do not take a double dose of Manerix unless otherwise instructed by your doctor.

Manerix Side Effects
Manerix may have any of the following side effects or allergic reactions:
Fast or racing heartbeat
Pounding or irregular heartbeat
Neck stiffness
Severe throbbing headache
Slow heartbeat
Mild to moderate headache
Pressure in head
Anxiety
Blurred vision or other changes in vision
Dizziness
Faintness
Lightheadedness
Fast or racing heartbeat
High blood pressure
Irritability
Nervousness
Pounding or irregular heartbeat
Restlessness
Unusual tiredness or weakness
If you experience any of these side effects, continue using the product but inform your doctor immediately.
Other side effects may also occur when you take Manerix. Inform your doctor if you experience anything unusual while or after taking Manerix.
Manerix Drug Reactions
Manerix may react with the following drugs:
Amphetamines
Appetite suppressants
Dextromethorphan
Asthma medicine or other breathing problems medicine
Medicines for colds, sinus problems, or hay fever or other allergies
Meperidine
Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor antidepressants
Tricyclic antidepressants
Cimetidine
Other Monoamine oxidase inhibitors
Other drugs may also interact with Manerix. Inform your doctor if you are taking any medications other than Manerix such as vitamins, minerals, and even herbal products.
